Assisi Animal Refuge • Trap Neuter & Release • Humane Education

US FlagDr. Kevin Kruse from the Copperas Cove Hill Country Animal Hospital advocates euthanization before finding a forever home for abandonned pets. Here is the TV Story. We are appauled. Because of his lack of support for the animals we encourage all citizens not to use him as a vet.

The Cat's Meow

We rely on public donations
Assisi Animal Refuge relies on donations to continue operating. We feed abandonned animals, maintain feral colonies, which means vet bills and feed expenses. Recently we found fosters for a dog mom and her 8 puppies. To get the puppies ready, we have to get them vaccinated when the time comes and arrange for spay/neuter. We have done the same for a large numbers of kittens and puppies before these. Please help if you can.

FOSTERS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY FOR PUPPIES

One of our feral dogs has had puppies that need to be raised and socialized so they can go to good homes. Socializing them means getting them used to living in a household, dealing with people coming and going and learn some manners, like housebreaking and not nipping. If you are interested in taking on the challenge, please contact info@assisianimalrefuge.org
